History
Delmar Cengage Learning , a
division of Delmar Cengage Learning, has provided life-long learning solutions to
millions of individuals, learning institutions and businesses for fifty-five
years.
Delmar Cengage Learning was
founded in 1945 by a number of prominent New York Educators with the
encouragement of the New York State Vocational and Practical Arts Association.
This group foresaw the demand for learning materials to prepare the labor force
for America's new industrialization after World War II. The company has grown
and expanded since then to become one of the leading career, technical, and
health care publishers worldwide.
Since becoming a Delmar Cengage Learning
company, Delmar Cengage Learning has been one of the top performers within this
group, consistently achieving and exceeding our sales and profit goals by
providing our customers with high-quality, innovative teaching and learning
materials. Currently, Delmar Cengage Learning yearly sales exceed $150 million.
